Remove broken tile

  1. When removing the broken tile, be careful not to damage the surrounding tiles. Follow these steps:
  2. Get a hammer and nail.
  3. Put on glasses.
  4. Use a nail to punch a hole in the center of the tile (this will minimize damage to the surrounding tiles).
  5. Carefully chisel off the broken tile.

Once the tile has been removed, brush away and debris from the tile area. Using a vacuum can greatly aid this process.

Setting the new tile

  1. Get latex primer, tile glue, and a disposable towel.
  2. Apply a thin layer of latex primer to the surface. Let it dry completely.
  3. Apply tile adhesive to the area. You can use a towel for this.
  4. Adjust the tile to place it.
  5. Carefully press the tile into the adhesive with gentle rocking.
  6. You can use a screwdriver to remove excess glue.

That's all.
