How to programmatically change the size of the image view in Android

style - android onclicklistener

Sometimes I have a button in my UI that is so small it is difficult to click. My solution so far has been to insert a transparent frame around the button in Photoshop. It is not enough to just increase the fill on the button as it will also stretch the image. Since it takes quite a bit of hassle to open Photoshop every time I want to change the clickable interface, is there a way to do it programmatically? I tried putting a frame layout behind the button and making it clickable, but then the button doesn't change appearance when touched like it should. Of course I could also add an on-touch listener on the frame layout that changes the appearance of the buttons, but then it's quite a bit of code when I have several of these buttons.
