What are chloroplasts?

Homework solutions
from experts

These are plant organelles that are responsible for photosynthesis.

Does this answer your question or do you still need help?

These are green plastids. They are found in the leaves of plants, in raw fruits, in vegetables, in twigs, in grass-like bodies. Chloroplasts are involved in photosynthesis. Photosynthesis converts light energy into chemical binding energy (ATP). The energy that is transferred from the ATP molecules to the organic molecules is stored as binding chemical energy for use when needed. Mitochondria, along with chloroplasts, are two organisms that produce and convert energy. :)
