San Giorgio Maggiore

The island of San Giorgio Maggiore is located in the Venice lagoon and is 490 meters long and up to 320 meters wide. The church and monastery on it have the same name. These were built by Andrea Palladio between 1559 and 1580.

Santa Maria della Salute

This baroque church in Venice is located at the entrance to the Grand Canal. It was built in 1630 to commemorate the end of the plague and is one of the most impressive churches in Venice.

Collezione Peggy Guggenheim

The Collezione Peggy Guggenheim is a collection of modern art in Venice. More precisely, it has been located in Palazzo Venier di Leoni on the Grand Canal since 1951, which has not been completed since its construction in 1749 until today. The museum opened in 1980.


This gallery houses the world's largest collection of Venetian paintings from Gothic to Rococo. It is located on the south bank of the Grand Canal. The collection is spread over 3 buildings.

Scuola Grande di San Rocco

The Scuola Grande di San Rocco is located in the San Polo district. It was built in 1515-1549 in honor of St. Rochus was built for those suffering from the plague and is famous for its rich furnishings with paintings by Tintoretto that adorn the ceilings and walls.
