Installation and use

You can easily measure your bandwidth in the MEIN PŸUR customer portal under the navigation point "More → Speedtest". We use an independent speed test from Ookla for this.

We need at least three measurements to analyze your bandwidth. These must have been carried out on different days, within the last seven days, at different times of the day (in the morning 3 to 12 a.m., in the afternoon 12 to 6 p.m., in the evening: 6 to 3 p.m.)

The measurements should also be carried out on a PC or laptop via LAN and not with a smartphone or tablet via WLAN, no other programs should run in the background during the measurements and no other people in your household should access the Internet during the measurements. Remove additional devices such as routers, switches, powerlines etc. during the measurement and establish a direct connection between the modem and PC or laptop. More information can be found here.
